  • Sculptra is a very tolerable procedure. The injections cause mild discomfort that feel similar to a slight pinching sensation. A “pushing and pulling” sensation with some pressure is typically felt. Sculptra is mixed with lidocaine, and you will get small injections of lidocaine prior to the procedure. Ice is applied to the treated area to aid swelling and ease discomfort.

  • Sculptra is injected under the skin using a fine guage needle.

  • It is very improant to massage the area using a 5-5-5 rule; 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days. This will help to spread the injection and prevent lumps or bumps. We suggest using ALASTIN Nectar with your massage for enhanced results and quicker healing.
